The Milan 2020 BIT is ready to launch the new year and decade of the Italian tourism: right from the beginning this has always been one of the most important Italian events of the tourism industry, able to attract visitors from Italy and abroad (43,000 people visited the 2019 edition), and it’s destined to grow further.
For this year’s edition the mixed formula is confirmed, where on February 9th the event opens its door to travelers, while February 10 and 11 are reserved for operators of the tourism sector.
For this year’s edition the attention will be focused on 5 thematic areas.
For travelers: "I love wedding", dedicated to the organization of honeymoons, "BIT4JOB", focused on job–training and work opportunities in the tourism sector, and "BETECH", featuring the novelties of the digital technology applied to tourism.
For professionals of the tourism industry, the novelties are represented by the "Leisure" area, where supply and demand of the international tourism meet, and by the "MICE" area, dedicated to all the operators who deal with the organization of events and congresses and to locations suitable for these kinds of event.
The program of this year’s edition is jam-packed with events and conferences that will examine the various aspects of tourism, ranging from the new forms of travels (silver, green, industrial and experiential tourism) to the more technical aspects, such as taxation and new marketing strategies.
